Bio
Kelley Wright
Tyler is very driven, intelligent, and wildly imaginative and creative. He works hard, and is always interested in learning whatever is put in front of him when it comes to filmmaking. He has an exceptional eye - a director's eye. His editing skills have been acknowledged by many, since even before he was excepted to film school. The film industry will be lucky to have him when he graduates.

Immensely fast-paced video editing for a multi-platform content farm - completing an average of 40 videos per day including alternate versions for YouTube, Facebook, Tik Tok, and other platforms. I am the only editor currently at the company directly in a position which was previously occupied by as many as 3 editors (who were unfortunately laid off due to COVID) to keep up with the same workload. Editing for Director Tony Kaye on many of his projects. Met both at his house and various company locations he was partnered with, including two trips to England to continue to work one-on-one as he maintained his public engagement and other work. This included a feature film 6 years in the making, as it has been built almost entirely in post-production, talks to edit a $15m feature unfortunately lost to COVID regulations, being an editor on an umbrella campaign with FF Creative for Stoli Vodka, partnering with the US Democratic Party for the 2018 midterm elections, working on a making-of film following his history and breakdown surrounding American History X (Humpty Dumpty), and working with an editing team on his parallel documentary to his new feature, The Trainer, along with his current involvement other work I unfortunately cannot disclose. First worked as a script supervisor for the Queerty Award-winning comedy series, Go-Go Boy Interrupted on their second season, and then replaced the editor when his initial cuts were not up to their quality standards, editing the entire second season. The project itself was multi-cam scripted improv comedy with many names from The Groundlings, including a few from Who's Line is it Anyway? and UCB. The season ended at 14 episodes of varied lengths for web and was directed by Jordan Black. May 2015 - Oct 2015
Communicated with clients, typically content executives from Sony, Disney, WB, Lionsgate, ABC, NBC, and others to manage the finishing process for advertising and commercial campaigns for various films and television shows. This included organizing and ordering deliverables, managing cuts and finishing schedules, and being a direct line to the client for all their needs regarding the finishing process as well as working with an online editor for projects finished in-house, including writing out transcripts for various trailers and spots, with crunch time putting me on a work schedule from 10am-3am each weekday with no breaks, hoping to show my willingness to do what was necessary for the campaigns to succeed.
