  Completing my 500 hour professional placement at ARAFMI allowed me to utilise my passion for mental health and gain experience in facilitating groups. This professional experience guided me in utilising theoretical frameworks, such as trauma-informed care in a practical setting, allowing me to continue to build my professional practice framework. I was guided by professionals in becoming more confident in my practice skills including communication and counselling.
