Arm sub-team, designing and manufacturing robotic arms for competition-ready rovers. Competitions include the University Rover Challenge (URC) and Australian Rover Challenge in addition to various outreach programs.Primary project was designing a new compact under-actuated three-finger end effector for the Extreme Retrieval tasks in the competitions. In this project I researched numerous existing designs, designing to ambitious new goals, prototyped and machined the end effector.
