During my three-month internship in Prof. Andrej Šali's lab at the University of California, San Francisco, I learned about integrative modelling and protein model fitting in CryoEM maps. I alos contributed to a project that involved using machine learning to predict amino acid residues from CryoEM maps. In the Department of Synthetic Biology and Immunology led by Prof.Dr. Roman Jerala. The group focuses on the molecular mechanism of signal transduction in innate immunity and on cancer immunotherapy. Within synthetic biology, the group investigates designed modular nanostructures – coiled-coil based protein origami. My work involved production, purification and biophysical characterization of different coiled-coil protein origami constructs. Also, binding trials with nanobodies were performed and an attempt of protein crystallization. Show less

In Agneta Norén's lab. The group is working on the regulation of nitrogen fixation in photosynthetic bacteria. My project focused on the recognition of putative DraG binding proteins responsible for the inactivation of DraG under energy depletion in Rhodospirillum rubrum. In Agneta Norén's lab.
