  I split my time between actuarial consulting and work for the Director of Marketing. Actuarial Consulting includes coding products on the ARCVAL valuation system, running reserves, validating to previous results on prior system, and documenting product and valuation assumptions for implementation on ARCVAL or Prophet. I've been in charge of the DCS (Data Conversion System) programming to prepare extracts for a consulting project for a large international insurer. I put together data for software demonstrations, assist in writing software documentation, and provide in-house training for various software products. I also coordinate our company's participation in various industry events throughout the year including the Valuation Actuary Symposium and the SOA Annual Meeting.Additionally, I am cross-trained to assist in the billing and administration areas at ARC, and pitch in with client billing, Quickbooks data entry, and other corporate administration activities as needed.
