Tabrez is the lab manager you want to have if you need a neat and well-functioning lab. He has been doing a fantastic job managing multiple hardware labs for us, a team of 150+ people. He is not only a diligent professional who consistently and timely delivers top quality work, but also a great team player and warm-hearted person whom I can always rely on. Besides being an excellent lab manager, Tabrez also has a great passion about mechanical design and has been a great help to my team on a few hardware design projects. He has definitely displayed his talent for that!

Had an opportunity to operate expensive machines like Radiography CT scanner for defect inspections. • Analysis of Fiber Reinforced Composites BeamsProgrammed MATLAB / Excel stress analysis program to calculate structural properties for Composite Beams subjected to thermal loads. Modelled the beams, performed FEA. Made a comparison study of the theoretical and FEA model stress dossier calculations• Optimization of Wind Turbine Blade Design Simulated aerodynamic pressure loads and Thermal loads on wind turbine blade using ANSYS solver. Determined stresses by passing the loads calculated in FLUENT into ANSYS MECHANICAL. Optimized the design to reduce change is AOA due to various loading• Stress Analysis and NDT of Fiber Reinforced Composite Laminates.Compared theoretical vs FEA model (Solidworks) vs Practical failure test stress dossier calculations. Introduced Defects and repeated the same comparison. Carried out NDT operations like Ultrasonic, Radiography ND testing • Repair Analysis of Composites BeamsOptimised repair methods of composite fiber sheets and beams with various joint methods like bolted joints, lap joints, but joints to name a few.
