      Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) is the lead apex institution for community-driven development in the country. Set up as a fully autonomous private sector institution, PPAF enjoys facilitation and support from the Government of Pakistan, the World Bank, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), KfWEntwicklungs bank (Development Bank of Germany) and United States (US) corporate sector. Outreach of PPAF now extends throughout Pakistan and its microcredit, water and infrastructure, drought mitigation, education, health and emergency response interventions have been widely recognized. Externally commissioned independent studies have demonstrated positive outcomes and impact of PPAF interventions on the lives of benefiting communities related to their economic output, household incomes, assets, agricultural productivity skills and other quality of life indices. LACIP is financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW. The Project is being executed by Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) over a period of three years (up to end of 2016). LACIP targets 52 Union Councils in 7 target Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 23 Partner Organizations. The Project aims to reduce the poverty levels by increasing economic opportunities. The Project is mandated to work in Institutional Development as a foundation and create an integrated approach towards development using the components of Community Physical Infrastructure (CPI), Livelihood Enhancement & Protection (LEP), Health & Education (H&E) and Disaster Preparedness and Mitigation (DPM) in the 7 selected districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.       The Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) formally commenced operations in April 2000 as a non-profit company, limited by guarantee (not having a share capital), under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. According to its Memorandum of Association, its purpose is “helping the poor, land-less and asset-less in order to enable them to gain access to resources for their productive self-employment, to encourage them to undertake activities of income generation and poverty alleviation and for enhancing their quality of life.”The PPAF supports a wide range of initiatives consistent with the pursuit of MDGs. These include initiatives for income generation, food security, education (and gender parity in education), gainful employment for women, reduction in child mortality, improvement in maternal health, and the protection and sustainability of the environment. It also supports programmes for youth, People with Special Needs, livelihood enhancement and protection, employment enhancement and enterprise development.Specific Duties:• Assist the LEP managers and unit head in achieving the overall goals and objectives of the program• Integration and mainstreaming of LEED (Livelihood, Employability and Enterprise development) in other units of PPAF• Design appropriate activities, implementation through partner on innovative ideas for LEED programming in the line of PPAF guidelines.• Develop and assist in the development of primary & secondary data collection formats and tools.• Monitor the process/quality of deliverables in LEED programming and provide inputs and technical assistance where required. • Appraising the different partner organization for the successful implementation of LEED programming in priority district of PPAF.
