      During my time at Salaam Baalak Trust, I worked with underprivileged children in a shelter, all girls from ages 5 to 17, and grades 1st to 10th. I was responsible for teaching them math, English, Hindi and other subjects in which the children needed assistance. I also engaged them in extracurricular activities such as classical Indian dance, origami and outdoor games.
