2016 Manager on Duty -Administrative Work: After achieving and sustaining top level club ranking of client results, client retention and high quality business management skills, I was given the responsibility of managing the Personal Training Department along with and in the absence of the managers on staff. This role required the development of detailed understanding of metrics used to assess individual, club and company wide performance. I then assisted in interpreting these metrics to make results driven decisions that would impact our team and club performance. -Education: I presented industry specific information around Exercise Physiology, Anatomy, Kinesiology, Nutrition Coaching, Behavior Change, Client Communication and Management at weekly meetings. -On-boarding: New additions to our team would be paired with me to learn how to build and manage their business, how to communicate with their clients, how to apply Exercise Science into their program design and organize the daily, weekly and monthly Programs that would lead to client success. I coached new hires on how to incorporate behavior coaching into the client and coach relationship to create the optimal environment for success. 2016-2019 Mentorship Mentorship involved walking through day to day and week to week interactions between my mentee and their client. We would review the weekly goals of the Trainer (mentee), create a schedule to support those goals and set up an accountability system. A similar system was set in place to ensure client progress. I organized practice Fitness Assessments and reviewed Training Program Design, ensuring that each component of the client experience was executed at the highest level. 2018-2019 Tier X Curriculum -Enrollment in Equinox’s Tier X Curriculum requires thorough awareness of self and others, constant self-assessment and reflection, a high level of emotional intelligence along with deep knowledge of the exercise and behavioral sciences.
