I've worked with TJ for over five years. In that time, I've found TJ's greatest assets to be relational, a quick start with a keen intellect, and a natural ability to hold in tension the big picture and the details of implementation. Most recently he served with me as an advisor during the strategy development process for the organization. This was a special assignment for which he was specifically chosen among many qualified candidates. The organization's trust in his abilities was affirmed in this appointment. TJ is the consummate leader - equal parts passion, personable, and persuasive. I so enjoyed engaging with him as a strategy advisor and I would not hesitate to work with him again when give the chance.

I’ve worked with TJ while I was the coordinator of Humber College’s Bachelor of International Development degree program and TJ taught several project management courses in the program. The degree focuses on bridging development theory and practice and often requires the recruitment of instructors whose theoretical knowledge is matched by direct work experience in the field. It can be difficult to find people who have this profile. TJ, however, has been a great fit. Students regularly report that TJ brings his field experience directly into the classroom in a way that animates the course and brings it to life. Moreover, he is unfailingly friendly, approachable and committed to the success of the students. TJ has also gone well beyond what is expected. In addition to his in-class work, he has provided valuable input on the curriculum and has worked with his organization to offer internship opportunities for Humber students. In my mind, the courses TJ teaches are two of the more critical courses in the program and are what distinguish our program from others. TJ has been central to making them a success.
