Token: A Journal of English Linguistics is published by the Jan Kochanowski University Press with the support of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (USA), the University of Bergamo (Italy) and Jan Kochanowski University (Poland). The full text of the articles published so far is freely available courtesy of the publisher. Token focuses on English linguistics in a broad sense, taking in both diachronic and synchronic work, grammatical as well as lexical studies. That being said, the journal favors empirical research. All submissions are double-blind peer reviewed. Token is the original medium of publication for all articles that the journal prints. The journal is listed in Scopus, EBSCO (Academic Search Ultimate), the European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS), Index Copernicus (ICI Journals Master List), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and the MLA Directory of Periodicals.
