I have known and worked with Sylvain for a couple of years. Initially, as he worked at the French consulate. During this time, he was pivotal in advocating for the change and simplification of the visa process for cruise passengers heading to New Caledonia, which benefited the destination greatly. More recently, I have had the pleasure of working with Sylvain on French Polynesia in his Expedia role, dealing with key hotel partners around the destination. Sylvain excels at building relationships with partners and identifying great opportunities and outcomes. He is genuinely curious, open minded, fun to work with and always driven to deliver stand out results.

I collaborated with Sylvain on a number of projects within the Expedia Group office in Sydney and am happy to share my very positive experience in working with him. Sylvain and I worked together on a couple of different Inclusion and Diversity projects. Sylvain was such a strong and positive force on teams. He was deeply engaged, collaborative and presented a very positive energy to the work we were doing. He was not afraid of voicing his opinions and always did so in a way that was always respectful and constructive. He has strong and well considered thinking that is grounded in inclusivity and in ensuring that diverse communities retain ownership of how they are represented. For example, when working together on promoting NAIDOC week within our organisation, Sylvain was extremely careful to ensure that we, as allies, were accurately and authentically incorporating and representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices. Sylvain is exceptional - he's creative, playful, diligent, smart, thoughtful and strong... and much much more.
