Further my responsibilities include preparing and testing prototypes, analyzing test results to improve prototype and assisting in analysis of other problem areas and recommending solutions. The designing process involves a lot of 3D CAD Modeling in CATIA V5 and Solidworks, performing FMEA, keeping the 2 D drawings updated, doing FEA for mechanical strength, and using Microsoft tools such as Excel to create analysis reports and trends. I am also responsible for sharing design changes with Sales, Purchasing and Manufacturing departments to insure proper communication. My projects also include wiper systems in Brazilian market. While working here I was able to create Patent worth ideas for wipers to my management one of which has been selected for further development.
