• FYP: Effect of Graphene Oxide nano particles on Salt Polymer Amine mud and Murree Shale formation.

  In this project me and my team were able to prepare a base mud having varying concentration of GO nano particles from 0 to 0.5 weight% and then the mud was passed through different tests in order to get to know its rheological properties and filtration loss mechanism. The shale formations and nano particles had to go through different tests like QXRD, CEC, SEM etc in order to get to know their reactivity and composition and then the results were produced. After this the mud was allowed to pass through the Shale formation to check the swelling tendency of clays present in Shale in presence of mud and to check how compatible the mud and the shale formation are with each other and then the results were examined with previous studies to get to know the accuracy of work.   The internship at BOBI Oil Complex was a great learning experience for me as a production intern because practically I was able to learn alot of things being there on field.
