       It is the world's first 3-stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination plant which requires shorter construction period and uses less energy in desalination compared with multistage flash (MSF) evaporating method plants that have been widely used in the Middle East but require more energy for evaporationRO System,consisting of 16 RO Trains which could produce 8,000 tons of desalinated water per hour. Each RO Train consists of 3 banks, known as 1st pass, 2nd pass and 3rd pass, The first pass RO membrane units are used to reduce chloride in seawater to produce brine water with 550 mg/liter chloride ion concentration. The second and third pass RO membrane units further reduce the chloride ion concentration of brine water to 5 mg/liter (Desalinated Water). Look After the Commissioning Activities carrying out at phase 2. Also involved in the testing of transformers 13.8 KV to 0.4 Kv Ensuring safe and smooth operation of the plantStart up and shut down of Reverse Osmosis plant and balance of plant.Monitor and visually inspect plant equipment and equipment indicators to detect operating make adjustments or minor repairs as required from CCR through DCS/HMI and Field.Chemical cleaning of 1st pass 2nd & 3rd pass RO membrane. Isolation and recommissioning of individual equipment or the whole system.Complete and maintain station records, logs and reports from CCR and field. Arrange and perform fire fighting drills of various types of fire.
