My duties at JTV as a sales agent were to place orders and up-sell other products to the customer, making their experience with the company as pleasurable as possible. I often had to diffuse and keep level in escalated situations, which is no problem for me. I love talking to the customers and getting to know them and what kind of jewelry they like so i can help them in the most accurate way i can. Basic cashier duties which included properly bagging items and keeping my surrounding isle tidy and organized. I prided myself when i was a cashier as being one of the fastest baggers on the front end. this job is where i gained most of my customer service experience, learned patience and understanding when it comes to customers and ensuring they have a good experience when they come through my line. I was responsible for strapping jumpers into a harness and working the mechanic that slingshot them 22 feet into the air. I often had to demonstrate my people skills in getting the more apprehensive jumpers to understand that the mechanic was perfectly safe and a ton of fun. I was also regularly trusted to work independently on a shift with no direct supervision.
