Sydney is a rockstar! Talk about someone who can handle themselves under the pressure of a tight deadline...and do it with a smile on their face, that's Sydney. Great attitude, tremendous work ethic, and a great team player. Sydney would be a valuable asset to any team, don't miss your chance to work with her.

I'm lucky to know Sydney well after the honor of teaching her in a few courses in the School of Communications at Elon. Four good words for Sydney: (1.) Exuberant. She brings her strong passion to enjoy everything she does. She makes any room brighter, any project more pleasant. (2.) Original. From design to music to text, she likes to craft fresh content. That made her a lot of fun to teach, and I'm happy to see how she is applying her creative skills professionally. (3.) Courageous. She is up for any challenge, physical or intellectual. She came to our midterm exam with a huge black eye one day and a sharp headache. This from a kick to her head as she dived to block a shot on goal as the starting "keeper" on the school soccer team. I offered to let her take the exam later, after her headache and swelling subsided. "No," she said. "I can do it." We all want that attitude on our team. (4.) Persistent. Give her a job, and it will be finished. Persistent as in dedicated. As in tireless worker. As in you don't want to miss the chance to benefit from this young professional's talents. Sydney: Come visit Elon and light up my office some quiet day. Our students need to meet you.
