  As an EMS intern, I spend a lot of time shadowing professionals throughout the agency to gain an understanding of the broad span of functions that support emergency response in the field. In addition to doing research, taking FEMA courses, and attending meetings, some of the areas that I was been able to shadow include: 911 Dispatch Fire Stations Fire Headquarters Cobb CARES - the community paramedic team MedOps - the tactical medics that work with the SWAT team And Six Flags!
