I work with the Academic Skills Center, specifically the Tutor Clearinghouse in aiding students with their tutor/tutee matches. My responsibilities range from greeting students and meeting their needs at the front desk to checking time cards and checking the quality of tutor/tutee matches. Now that the office is working remotely, my projects have involved aiding with the in-person to online transition of our services.

Learning Science Fellow

Learning Science Fellows operate in flipped classroom settings where the majority of class time is used for group problem-solving. This role involved answering questions students had about the group work and ensuring the time is spent productively and that students are coming to accurate conclusions. We also met weekly with the professors of the classes and advisors from the Dartmouth Center for the Advancement of Learning to determine what works, what does not work, and to identify students who were struggling.
