• Supporting IT environment in a Shopping Mall : We work here as a team, in our mall we are using GPON as our backbone (Z***E). As we know, the GPON concept is a using fiber as a backbone There are few applications or services that connect to our network. So our responsibility here is to support other teams that using this application. For example, is : • **** System (CCTV Application) • **** System (Card Access System) • **** System (Car Park System) • **** System(AP Controller) • Building Automation System Others, our duty is to ensure all our management team is doing well with their IT staff. Like to ensure all Laptop and Desktop is doing well, printing network is stable, internet connection is a stable, file sharing is working well and others. • Construction environment. For me, I feel very grateful and lucky because I came into this team since the construction. From that, I can learn so many things from the scratch! I also involve with the network infra design and planning team at that time. Before this, my experience is more to do practically and maintaining only. But this time I learn how to plan. I learn how to manage project timelines and handle construction stress. As we know construction is quite stressful when it comes to the timeline. I need to make sure the project is done in the timeline given with all the specification must be achieved. The conclusion is, here at this company I learn so many things. Because I work here from the construction being. I learn everything from the scratch. • Supporting IT environment in schools: ICT technologies in Singapore are quite good in our nation. It's more than 400 laptops & PC I need to maintain and more than 120 iPad are using for the lesson. I need to maintains well the ICT things such as a laptop, printer faulty, and even a network connection. Because Singapore school got their own server and sharing drive its self. One more thing the system is centralized by MOE and it's followed by NCS. I also do documentation here, for example, teacher or any user request for software installation. I can’t just straight forward install the software. All software is needed to approve by MOE so we need to raise the SR forms first. Here also, I got to learn how to communicate with a non-it person. Actually, it’s quite tough to communicate with them. So I got to learn how to explain to them in a simple way. Latest project. 2018 is the year MOE migrate from the SSOE to the SSOE2. Got a lot of challenges and task at here. We need to update the security and the patch, testing for new OS Windows 10 and we are upgrading the security here. So, it was an enhancement for ICT Singapore education. Show less

Radiant Global it’s a global company. The main business it’s about giving an IT service in the retail sector. Got a lot of customers from this company, for example, Giant Super Market, AEON Big, AEON, KFC and many more. My latest task and project is to set up the POS counter to all AEON store in Malaysia. What we need to do is, we need to do from a server installation until to client installation at the POS counter. After the installation is done, we need to testing and standby for any issues coming later. So, this is helping us how to handle the critical situation to solve a problem. This is my first job after I graduating my Diploma in Computer Science. Thanks to this company for giving me a chance as a fresh graduate with very little experience. Funai is a Japanese company that produces electronic products such as DVD Player, Recorder and Television. As an Assistance Engineer for the SQA department here, my responsivities are. I need to ensure all the software or firmware for our product must get no error or bug. So, I will prepare the test file, then our inspector will use the file to do testing. I also need to ensure all inspectors are following the test file to detect a bug. If got a bug or error they will report to me, then I will report back to the software team, need to repair or improve. It’s a quite tough job actually because my responsibility is quite big. But it’s still a good job to gain knowledge and experience. Show less
