  Since 2018 - I started to work with civil society and grass-root organizations, I realized in convenient terms the importance of history, art and culture, and how it affects the present and shapes the future, especially in 2014, which was crucial for Ukraine. I am convinced that for Ukraine to survive as a sovereign state, to keep our identity and dignity, to be able to overcome and develop together with other countries of Europe, along with other activities, we should reflect deeply on our past, existing narratives and how they are conveyed via educational system, be responsible for shaping more modern narratives. This process has already started and going on actively via the voices of Ukrainian intellectuals, and a splash of interest in informal educational platforms (civic education, history and trauma-awareness projects). Since 2018 I’ve been working with project management in the NGO Forum Civil Peace Service, Ukraine program, in the area of conflict transformation by means of social artistry, memory work and non-violent communication. A few projects I am contributing to: • 'Past / Future / Art' project - is a cultural memory platform, https://www.pastfutureart.org • 'Empathetic Support to Ukrainian Civilians during war' project - has been implemented since the pandemic, responding to the current war-related needs of Ukrainians • 'Story Collectors' project - aims at collecting stories of civilian Ukrainians about their experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war via Oral History approach, and creating a catalogue of the stories to be used by artists in the future. Stories are collected via the Network of Ukrainian Playback Theatre. These projects are aimed at developing critical thinking and growing awareness among different groups of people of the existence of various perspectives, a better understanding of cultures and how to tackle divisions in the society.
