  I worked at CDV for the harvest of 2006. We processed 80% red wine grapes. I worked with the harvest crew and had extensive practise in the following activities: crushing of fruit, both hand and machine picked, whole cluster pressing of white grapes, racking of white juice and then barreling down for fermentation, pumping over and punching down red fermentation caps, racking, shoveling and pressing of red wine tanks, second racking of red wines off gross lees; topping of white barrels post primary fermentation in readiness ofr malolactic fermentation, barreling down of red wines, chemical additions to tanks and barrels and the sensory evaluation of young wines.
