Sven was my first ever line manager when we both worked at Colas Rail UK. He was a pleasure to work with and to know in that time. He is a very knowledgeable and conscientious individual with an open-door management style, which was very helpful to have early in my career. He supported me through the first few years of my ACA qualification and in my own development into other finance roles. Sven and I had a unique remit as systems accountants, requiring a blend of technical financial knowledge and IT skills. The skills I learnt from Sven during that time have been very valuable for me in my subsequent roles. We made a fantastic team and Sven would be a fantastic asset to any organisation.
