After promotion to a role of Lettings Consultant – a new job created for me - I was tasked with creating a day-to-day structure and processes for roll out across the company, working out of a new office in Withington. This has involved attending auctions and identifying and approaching buy-to-let landlords, establishing their needs and any opportunities to promote our services, liaising with landlords for appraisals and negotiating fees. I look at booked and completed rental valuations on the company’s Vebra system on a daily basis and create my own list of cancellations and identify any issues by contacting landlords direct in order to offer appropriate property management services. I also make potential landlords aware of rental legislation, send property details to applicants, match landlords with contactors and keep landlords up to date with interest in their properties in order to ensure they are receive consistent and effective service.
