In 1996 I was hired as an intake/admissions worker and therapist for Intensive Outpatient Services for adolescent substance abusers adjudicated to treatment. In 1998 I was promoted to Director of Outpatient Services, which required me to supervise therapists at multiple sites, prepare and monitor compliance with licensing and regulating bodies, and participate in program development and Quality Improvement initiatives. I conducted biopsychosocial inventories and initiated outpatient group and individual sessions. In 2000, I was promoted to Director of Clinical Services. In this position, I was responsible for all clinical services (prevention, outpatient, residential, and group home). This included program development, Quality improvement initiatives, acting as liaison for county representatives, developing and providing clinical trainings, and ensuring compliance with licensing and regulating bodies such as DPW, BDAP, CBH, and multiple county probation offices.
