  I worked on several 'Out Reach' projects successfully targeting 'hard to reach' dutyholders in the construction industry. I carried out several site advisory visits on Construction sites. I turned around a failing system, researched and identified a cheaper way to obtain key information instantly and at half the cost. I am assistant editor on an internal newsletter which encourages closer working relationship between operational, sector and policy colleagues. I work and engage with external Health and Safety stakeholders at a National level - share information, encourage health and safety leadership within their sectors. I organised joint site Health and Safety inspections with the Local Authorities in London in the Construction Industry. I work out of hours duty, liaising closely with the emergency services responding to health and safety incidents and accidents. I work with Head of Directorate ensuring guidance is up too date and fit for purpose. I draft responses to queries from members of the public, organisations and dutyholders. Volunteer work I run a Cold Weather Shelter for the homeless in my area from January to March every year. This involves promoting the shelter locally through the media, church, getting local business onboard and the community in general. Ensure enough volunteers are available each week to set up the shelter and provide the guests with a hot evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Show less
