  As founder and publisher of Vermont Woman newspaper, I am responsible for the overall business including hands on production of every issue. Vermont Woman newspaper was orignianlly founded in 1985 - 1990 and restarted again in 2003. Vermont Woman is a tabloid size, statewide bi-monthly publication dedicated to providing a woman's perspective on current events, health, education, finance, elderly issues, environment, sports and the arts. Vermont Woman is the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. New England Newspaper and Press Association winner for "New England Newspaper of the Year" winning in every year we were participating members. In 2010, Suzanne Gillis was inducted into the New England Newspaper Hall of Fame. In addition, Vermont Woman has also won several awards from the Vermont Press Association including general excellence, writing and photography, competing with approximately 38 weeklies. Vermont Woman is also a member of the National Newspaper Association.
