Appointing Suzanne as BDM in the Membership team was an easy decision, her reputation for professionalism and successful business development preceded her. Her enthusiasm to stretch her skillset into new areas of revenue development was greatly welcomed and she played a significant role in the commercial success of the team. Not only did she bring her friendly and open personality to the team, but her industry experience which positively impacted the development of the team sales and retention strategies and ultimately to the consistent achievement of personal and department targets.

Lesliann Kuhn, CHBA

Suzanne was such a pleasure to work with she was well organized and had attention to detail when managing contracts. Her personality radiated the sales team and my clients truly enjoyed working with her.

Since 2006, I’ve been working within the luxury hospitality and tourism sector, which kick-started my career in Canada; from Toronto, to Banff in the Canadian Rockies, to Vancouver on the West Coast. Back home in Scotland since 2014, I've worked in event management, marketing and business development within venues, hotels and in recent years within B2B, destination marketing and alongside business networking and membership bodies. My focus is always on building an efficient and results-driven relationship. I’ll work with you to create a customised and flexible plan of action that best suits your needs and aspirations. Established in 2016, Causeway: Ireland Scotland Business Exchange, was born out of an ambition to support businesses from Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland, that wished to explore their respective neighbouring markets. Causeway is a not-for-profit business networking organisation, supported by the Scottish and Irish governments, that connects professionals on both sides of the Irish Sea. Our aim is to facilitate business growth and collaboration through networking and events and provides a valuable and proven platform for our members to meet, cooperate and collaborate. As Business Development Manager, my role was to explore new revenue and membership growth opportunities through securing sponsorship and reaching new audiences throughout Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
