It has been a real pleasure to have Suzanne Dunivant who’s pursuing Master's in Special Education (Mild/Mod. Credential) as my classmate. The valuable experience she gained from her special education instructional assistant job has been very beneficial to our class discussions and collaboration projects. It is always an eye-opening experience learning new strategies since our curriculum is always evolving. Suzanne’s desire to motivate students achieve success in life is commendable. Suzanne’s own love of learning I’m sure is a source of inspiration for her students as well. Social emotional learning is an integral part of education and human development, and her suggestions for effective lesson plans has been very helpful. With so many resources that are available these days, it’s always nice to learn new strategies that we haven’t tried before, and I have enjoyed our collaboration sessions thoroughly. My learning experience in Design and Process of Teaching with Suzanne has been very memorable. I loved coteaching with her at SimSchool, and it was great collaborating with her and learning new innovative ideas. The positive vibes she brings to the class and her zeal for learning, truly is an inspiration for all of us. I wish her continued success in her future endeavors as a credentialed educator.
