Suzanne is one of the finest professionals I've worked with in my teaching career. She sees the big picture, constantly thinking about how to improve and develop the program. Her insightful, energetic and flexible approach nurtures the creation of new, relevant, and innovative courses that engage new audiences. Working with her is a pleasure that has fueled me to be a better educator and artist. She reached out to me in 2017 to teach at Pratt. Since that time, I have worked with her developing and teaching a number of very successful courses related to drawing, photography and art history.

I first met Suzanne at the American Folk Art Museum. She hired me to teach public education studio art workshops at the museum. While at Pratt Institute she hired me to teach studio courses in painting for the School of Professional and Continuing Education. Subsequently, I was invited by Suzanne to exhibit my work in a solo show at the Manhattan Pratt SPCS Gallery. As the director, she was exceptional to work with on this project. I have rarely had such an inspiring studio visit in preparation for an exhibition as I had with Suzanne. My solo exhibition called "Efflorescence" gave me direct insight into how successfully Suzanne manages her expertise, skill sets, and passion by holistically synthesizing multiple subjects including art, art history, education, and exhibition curation.
