Of the 14 years I've known Suzanne, I directly reported to her for more than 11. I'd work with her again in a heartbeat. As a supervisor, her expectations of her employees are both high and clear, but not impossible to achieve. She runs a very tight ship. Suzanne pushed me to expand my knowledge and understanding of accounting, but also gave me the latitude to learn in other areas of interest i.e. HR. I consider her to be the most important mentor of my entire career. Side bonuses of working with Suzanne are her kindness and good sense of humor. She would be an incredible asset to any company needing a high quality, trustworthy, efficient leader of their accounting department.

Working with Suzanne as the Controller at Denver Investments was an absolute pleasure. During that time, the firm underwent a lot of change including implementing new expense and travel systems as well as an acquisition. Suzanne’s professionalism, leadership and expertise helped the firm navigate through all these very challenging projects. Many times over the years, I worked with Suzanne on last minute requests and she was always quick and accurate in her work. I never had to worry about the quality of work. In addition, Suzanne is really lovely and a thoughtful person. Any firm would be incredibly lucky to have her to work with.

“In supporting the integration of Denver Investments into the Segall, Bryant & Hamill environment, I focused on operational alignment, clear communications and expectations and team building. The culture and systems change was significant and team engagement was essential for ongoing success. To this end, I led the management and integration of financial and accounting operations and cross-functional team support. This was both challenging and fulfilling.” “In supporting the integration of Denver Investments into the Segall, Bryant & Hamill environment, I focused on operational alignment, clear communications and expectations and team building.
