I organized an online summer camp that walked through various parts of the college application process. The aim of this summer camp was to provide a more accessible way to educate students about the application process and help various causes. All of the proceeds from the camp were donated to various charities including The Ocean Cleanup, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Save the Children, Earthjustice, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, and more. As a part of Frisco High School's Independent Study and Mentorship Program, I was able to connect with two professionals in the Environmental Engineering Consulting field: Ms. Natalya Holm and Ms. Céline Morris. From them, I learned about Tier II Reporting and Environmental Consulting Fieldwork. Under their guidance, I created a proposal for the Frisco Independent School District to use Solar Energy. As a part of Frisco High School's Independent Study and Mentorship Program, I got the opportunity to connect with a mentor in my field of interest, Environmental Engineering. I learned about the various parts of the Engineering Design Process, elements of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Design, qualities of a professional engineering meeting, and the importance of communication and teamwork.
