Started as a contractor and was made Permanent a month later; I was brought in to contribute to the technical aspect of the Secondary Loan Pricing Department. Excellent understanding of Excel, VBA and Access which were the key tools the department used; I obtained raw loan prices from Traders from the top tier investment banks; perform high end analytics and post them onto the Reuters website for the benefit of our Clients. Part of the analytics process was for me to formulate spreadsheets in Excel/VBA; load and retrieve prices from the Access Database, modify the Excel templates and Access database where necessary to perform and reduce the manual processes and improve data quality. I was also asked to prepare be-spoke portfolios in VBA as required by certain Clients we served. My main focus was to use my technical knowledge of Access, VBA Excel and apply this knowledge to prepare the information required of our Clients.
