  I joined Create in October 2008 and have since supported and led numerous high level projects. I have considerable experience in qualitative research methodologies including focus groups, structured interviews and surveys with a variety of groups. My research experience includes the use of online and telephone surveys & data analysis and presentation. Most recently I led the evaluation of two communication skills interventions for healthcare staff in primary and acute care settings on behalf of NHS Education for Scotland. This involved a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods including pre and post intervention questionnaires, interviews and analysis of intervention materials. I have held a key or leading role in the Needs Assessment and Resource Development for Alcohol and Drug Education in Lanarkshire, the Evaluation of the Text 4u Service (NHS GG&C), Communication Skills of Health Professionals (NHS Education for Scotland), Evaluation of Emotional Literacy Transition Programme (North Glasgow Youth Stress Centre) and the review of Youth Health Service Provision in Glasgow City (NHS GG&C). I am experienced in the use of online and paper surveys, focus groups, interview and social media for consultation with young people, service users, patients and health professionals and stakeholders.I have in-depth knowledge of online research databases and key information sources for desk based research and am skilled in processing large amounts of data, creating and maintaining database and spreadsheet systems, and the analysis and presentation of statistical information. I have conducted literature reviews and thorough, meticulous desk based reviews and mapping activities.
