DataTjej is a non-profit organization that was founded 1998 by 2 students in Umeå. The goal of the association is to create a network of individuals who identify themselves as women or non-binary of all ages who study, work or are interested in data / IT. We work to encourage and facilitate contacts primarily between students and businesses, as well as to increase the community of data girls. DataTjej won the Womentor Prize 2015 with the motivation from the jury that DataTjej makes a great effort to attract more women to the IT industry and to take leading positions. In 2018, DataTjej has been nominated to: The Best organization of Womengineer Awards with the motivation: "This is an organization that has grown over the past year thanks to the hard effort of the people behind the organization and the realization among women and non-binary to be part of something bigger that helps to unite them in data and IT. Thanks to the events and networks made possible through the organization, people have found jobs, internships and friendships, which inspires each other to continue working for a common goal - equality. " This year we have over 2200 members in Sweden and we continously get more members each day. My role: I was responsible for business contacts to find cooperation to arrange different events. It could be everything from a bigger event with 120 participants to smaller events of 15-20 participants. In this process I was the main contact person before, during and after the event. These events are highly appreciated by both companies and participants. Show less

    • Product Manager International Magazines
      • Oct 2016 - Jun 2018

In October 2016, Tidsam AB acquired Svenska Interpress and worked very hard with the merger, in which I was highly involved as Tidsam did lack the experience of the international market. At Tidsam, I did more or less take the same role as I previously had at Interpress and I was responsible for the international magazines in the Norwegian and the Swedish market, which account for about SEK 180 million in sales. My responsibilities was extended and in addition to my regular tasks, I was working with the fusion of their 2 systems. Beside this I took the lead of the logistic chain, as they had to switch freight forwarder from US/UK. This in order to secure the distribution way and to reduce the cost. My key responsibilities was: •Product manager for approx. 2 000 international Magazines. This included the responsibility for the budget and the gross profit. •Main responsibility for sales and market analyses to ensure that they had the right products at the right prices. This includes business intelligence on a strategic and tactical level, including profitability analysis, external environment monitoring and trend analysis. •Main contact towards our publishers and distributors concerning agreements, distribution, retailer network, planning and co ordination of promotions, sales analyses, statistics etc. Responsible for about 50 distributors/publishers of which the largest comes from UK, Germany, USA and Denmark. • Planning and co ordination of promotions B2B, mainly in retailers such as Pressbyrån, WHS/SSP, Narvesen, and Super/Hypermarkets. •Primarily responsible for distributors and publisher meetings both in Sweden and on conferences all around the world. •Providing information and service towards other departments and retailers. This includes amongst other things, various newsletters and product information for targeted communication. •In charge for the logistic chain/distribution chain from US and UK Show less
