Susanne followed the validation of the first PDD I wrote. She has proven of being professional, technically competent and very very kind. And she, as validator, also followed up the growth of my technical skills. I am very proud of the work I shared with her.

I helped building the company's climate change services unit. DNV was one of the two first third party verifiers to get the UN accreditation to perform validation and verification services. I worked mainly with training, quality assurance and customer relations. I frequently travelled to Brazil, India, Eastern Europe and Germany. I also represented the company at UN conferences. I worked on Greenhouse gas Accounting, monitoring, reporting and verification issues related to CO2 capture and storage technologies. These technologies will be playing a crucial part in reducing the atmospheric and oceanic GHG concentrations during the years to come. They are good technologies and already in use commercially. Like any technology, they are not a one-fix for everything and need to be handled with care. I wished the climate change-concerned opinion leaders and grass-root ENGOs were more favorable towards all sorts of solutions, inlcuding carbon markets and clean technologies. Show less
