Sue and I were on Togo's executive team together. Sue was instrumental in identifying, networking and hiring a wealth of experienced talent to Togo's. She managed a number of those new hires and equipped them with a new comprehensive restaurant operations audit to elevate execution of the Brand within the franchise community. She brought valuable strategic and operational views of the business to our interactions. For the franchisees she emphasized the need and trained them in how to manage their P&Ls for greater profitability without impacting the Brand or the guest experience. It was great to work Sue and would hope to work with her again some day.

It is with full confidence that I recommend Sue Tonkin for the position of human resources, training or organizational development within your company. I believe that Sue possesses a vast array of knowledge and experience that she could leverage in those disciplines. Some of the previous positions she held that relate to experience in this area, include Director of Training, Director of Franchise Services, Business Consultant, and business owner. Sue has competencies in many different areas as I found that she was always interested in not only the success of her particular function, but all those that she worked with. I first met Sue in 1996 when she was interviewing for the positions of Regional Training Manager for Round Table Pizza. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching her progress through her career, taking it to exceptional levels, working with her in operations and observing her professional growth. This is an individual who always works hard and maintains a high standard of professionalism in all that she does. Sue is an excellent collaborator and can bring together many different ideas and opinions and create actionable and effective plans. Sue is an excellent communicator and is known for being someone who can get to the root of issues, offering up and implementing real solutions. She has a great reputation for being dependable. Sue can always be relied upon to do what she says she will do. Her integrity is never in question and she is highly respected in her field. There is no doubt in my mind that she has everything it takes, to be a very successful Director or future Vice President in Human Resources. I highly recommend Sue knowing that she’ll bring professionalism, knowledge and integrity to the table. She really would be an excellent addition to your team. In fact, I genuinely believe that any organization would be fortunate to her on board and I wish her every success in her new endeavors. Sincerely, Gregg Fleury Former VP and COO at Round Table Franchise Corporation
