Using my unique Superstar Communicator™ programme, I coach my clients to engage with others through the excellent use of the voice, body language, managing nerves/fear, 'performance' and presentation skills, content and preparation, performance and knowing their audience. My work with SuperStar Communicator has been delivered to attendees from more than 100 countries: 6 continents - I am waiting for an opportunity in Antarctica. Through fund raising we assist with the hire of concert venues; selling tickets; hire of music; purchasing of specific instruments for students to hire; repair of instruments. As a result of my work as a singing teacher and leading workshops, I was invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. I taught a variety of abilities and ages, and all of the pupils had plenty of opportunities to perform - either in concerts I arranged; within choirs or Festivals. During this time I arranged a number of singing workshops in schools and community organisations. Some workshops were funded by the Millennium Fund and ACE and either provided school children with good quality musical opportunities, or for communities to build up friendships. There were also a number of adult singing workshops for community organisations and for community events. All of my pupils did really well, but notable pupils won Choral Scholarships to Cambridge; competed in BBC 1's Star for a Night and one pupil was in the Final of The BBC Young Chorister of the year: over 300 girls applied and she was one in the final. I had 100% pass rate for examinations, and plenty received Distinction. I sang as a soloist throughout UK; in France, Italy, Spain and USA, at venues such as Symphony Hall Birmingham, Durham Cathedral; Royal Albert Hall; Purcell Rooms; Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; for Festivals such as City of London Festival, Covent Garden Festival and Cheltenham International Festival. As a soloist I also sang on Radio and BBC1 and was the soprano soloist for a major TV advert campaign. Whilst working as a singer, I worked alongside the MD of Opera Live! writing funding applications to deliver outreach work using music in different communities. We won and managed funding from The Arts Council to deliver music related projects. Prior to being a classical singer, I learnt my craft to win my Equity Card; singing at working men's clubs, bands and appearing in a long tour of an Adult Panto.... Say no more! Show less

I was also the backstage hostess when Prince Edward visited the venue. Duties included directly liaising with the artiste and artiste… Show more I looked after the requirements of major International artistes when they were performing at Symphony Hall Birmingham. The concert hall is regarded as one of the three best in the world and the calibre of artistes reflected that. Artistes included Jose Carreras, Jessye Norman, Monserratt Caballe, Andre Previn, Sir Simon Rattle, Art Garfunkel - to name a few. I was also the backstage hostess when Prince Edward visited the venue. Duties included directly liaising with the artiste and artiste managers regarding food, drink, setting up their dressing rooms, escorting them to the stage and hotels after the performance etc. Due to being part of the backstage team, I became aware of the importance of careful planning, preparation and timings to ensure concerts ran to the very highest professional standards.
