TRANSPORT SERVICES: I deftly leverage my three-plus decades of recovery experience and career in the mental health field to help families get their loved ones safely to and from treatment for chemical dependency, mental health issues, or both.You see, I've been there. I'm successfully living in recovery from addiction.As an Addiction Recovery Specialist, I'm there through the transport process to ensure a smooth transition for both the individual receiving care and the family.Here's how transport works:➊ I attend intervention (if going to treatment).➋ I provide any help required before departure (packing, pick-up, etc.)➌ I hold all medications to minimize risk.➍ Recovery Allies arranges travel and coordinates with the family and the treatment facility.➎ Once arrived at the destination city, I arrange the pick-up of essential supplies.➏ I stays with the client until they are safely in the care of a treatment facility representative.You're not alone. As a Therapeutic Recovery Companion (AKA a 'Sober Companion' or 'Sober Coach,') I provide a sense of safety or stability during recovery. I do not control your actions or dictate your schedule. Rather, I coach you through your day-to-day responsibilities and help you stay accountable for your actions.
