Lethbridge Sport Council is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 2008 under the Societies Act of Alberta governed by a 15-member volunteer Board of Directors and managed by three full-time staff dedicated to support the enhancement and development of sport within the Lethbridge community. In our first decade, Lethbridge Sport Council has developed a solid inner circle of robust relationships with a common vision to provide quality sport experiences to all. We built upon the already established reputation provincially and nationally as a premier sport community, developing signature events (i.e., LSC Achievement Awards, SportFest, and Board Leadership Lethbridge) and lead several winning sports bid committees. We value and embrace the partnerships we have fostered during our first 10-years in our mission to provide leadership and a collective voice for sport in Lethbridge. As we look forward, we are determined to stay relevant and sustainable. We embrace the Sport for Life model and the importance of sport for social development. Our intention is to be proactive and visionary to ensure all Lethbridge residents have the opportunity to experience quality sport experiences.

Taught grades 3, 4, 6, and 7 (primarily grade 7) at Alexander Park Elementary School. Introduced and coached an after school track and field club for Alexander Park students which in its second year expanded to include students from both elementary schools in Golden. Inspired by my students' reaction to the fundraising program Jump Rope for Heart, I began a lunchtime skipping program for all ages.
