  For Canada's 150 Birthday, I did an event within an event at Landsdowne besides being on the Irish Embassy Committee. I obtained 4 men in tuxedos, bolo hats, top hats, ties, shoes to go with the tuxes, and, pants. There were 2 tuxes with morning coats, and, shorter coats. I obtained another woman besides myself to dress in the 1890s garb being white blouses, black skirts, and, flowered, straw hats! I obtained all the costumes for some of the other women, too. Only they did not participate in the parade of yesterday's costume era! Last, I gave ideas to the committee when needed! The Irish Band from Montreal really lit up inside the building as well as outside! After this event was over, I was invited to see the Irish History Exhibit in August 2017. Definitely, a great time had by all! Also, attended the "Trooping Of The Colors", and, High Tea at St. Barthalomus Anglican Church in Rockcliffe! What a great event! Show less

  Raised over $6,000 with a gross net of $5,800. I did this without the help of volunteers: Did all the sales and marketing including multi-level marketing from Carp to Rockland plus in-between areas. Arranged for all the period clothing, tuxedos, shoes, and accessories. Obtained male and female models. Arranged for all the mannequins so the period clothing could be displayed. Called area churches to obtain more clothing racks. Minimal costs for cleaning as cleaning kits were used and Gireaux's Men's Wear did clean all their donated tuxedos plus accessories. Eight sponsors to sell "tickets" and pick up what did not sell. Three more sponsors were obtained for the gala within 3-4 days bringing it up to 6 sponsors total. Four sponsors were obtained for the raffle within 3-4 days bringing it up to 6 sponsors total. Promoted gala by: networking, social media, and other resources. Show less

In summing up, I did event management and program planning with thank-yous, posters, security, supplies, entertainers, raffles, logos, signage, displays, and printing. Wrote, edited, reviewed proposals, and, reports. Researched, monitored, oversaw strategies for business projects. Impressing people with ideas, being willing and capable of working, being able to oversee things on a large scale along with my sales and international mind. I enjoy challenging, shocking myself.   Oversaw and Critqued the World Conference of Breast Cancer. I presented 1/2 dozen view points to a panel of 6 prominent women in order to smooth out the wrinkles and make it better. I helped on the hospitality committee and obtained 1400 Canadian Flag pins and 4 Canadian Flags plus sold hasty notes, walked delegates over to the Saw Art Gallery and told them the story about the last hanging in Canada and the Ottawa jail, went with delegates for a party on the Govenor General's Grounds. Had 2 patients and stayed with one over night in the Westin Hotel. Also, I obtained taxi chips from management to take this patient to the downtown clinic 2x's. Because she was from Africa and didn't have any health insurance, I was able to talk the walk and walk the talk my way into a doctor to see this patient. Also, helped to set up the hospitaliy room as well as the media table.
