  What started out as a position in collection development with a shared responsibility for library and information literacy instruction has become a much broader role. I am part technical services librarian, part collection development librarian, and part instruction librarian. Over the course of any given semester, I lead instruction sessions for undergraduate students focusing on information literacy, plagiarism, utilizing library resources, and more. I provide instruction for classes in nursing, English, business, criminal justice, and speech. As a subject liaison, I represent the library to both the Health Professions and Workforce Development Divisions. I also serve as a point of contact between the library and our vendors, and also oversee a budget for subscription and perpetual content.
