Susan always went above and beyond her job duties to enhance the student experience and she is one of the most patient and hard working members in the library group, she would be an excellent addition to any Library department. She brought her own enthusiasm for her job to any library, and worked to create the most rewarding experience for anyone that visits the library. I highly recommend Susan for any organization.

To whom it may concern: I would like to recommend Susan Lydon as a candidate for a position with your organization. In her position as Reference and Outreach Librarian, Susan was employed in our office from August 2016 to May 2017. Throughout her time at Newbury College, she demonstrated critical skills that would make her an excellent employee at your organization. Susan did a terrific job in her position and was an asset to the college during her tenure in our library. She has excellent written and verbal communication skills, is extremely organized, can work independently, and is able to effectively multi-task to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely manner. Because of her effectiveness, I even gave her additional responsibilities, including developing several course related libguides and themed desk displays. Susan went above and beyond in those assignments, as she does in all tasks. Susan was always willing to offer her assistance and had an excellent rapport with the many patrons served by our library including faculty, staff and students. She visited several courses offering library instruction tailored to course subject and assignment, and acted as library liaison to professors in the art and culinary departments. Her communication skills, pleasant manner and thorough attention to detail would be particularly valuable if you are looking for a candidate who can effectively communicate with people across departments. She would be an asset to any employer and I wholeheartedly recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue. Please let me know if you have any further questions, Anthony Viola
