  My responsibilities include participation on the Programmatic State Technical Assistance Team which supports state health departments across the country in scaling and sustaining the evidence-based National Diabetes Prevention Program. This public private partnership was launched by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and includes partners such as the American Medical Association, the Ad Council and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. I also facilitate a Communities of Practice group focused on securing health insurance coverage for the National Diabetes Prevention Program and recognized lifestyle change programs. In addition, I lead the communications efforts for NACDD's diabetes work.
