I first met Susan in 1993 when she became one of my first freelance clients in KC. (I moved home from Dallas leaving behind a client list over 300 companies). Susan has sent me work off and on for years. Some of it I worked inhouse next to her; other work was offsite in my own studio. What's really great about Susan is that despite the massive collection of skills she possesses, she held that information gracefully without shoving it in anyone's face. I've seen many egomaniacal designers out there who could have learned a thing or two from Susan about being being a truly confident, gracious person....one who doesn't have to say it.
