Susan Alston's mentor-ship has been so helpful to me since first meeting her while interning at CHD in 2012. She is an excellent listener and always makes time to assist me in any way she can. Whether it be through sending me articles that are of interest, reviewing application materials, listening to my ideas, connecting me to experienced professionals within the field I am interested in, or sharing her vast professional knowledge, she has been always been very kind and willing to support my endeavors and help wherever she can. Not only does she know her stuff, but her friendly and approachable demeanor makes her easy to turn to for advice/insight. Her passion for supporting young women professionally is evident and she has been an excellent mentor to me.
