My contribution to the Children’s Charity, KidsOut which supports disadvantaged Children through the provision of Fun and Educational Services www.kidsout.org.uk was recognised on Thursday, 23 April 2015 in London, at the Lancaster Hotel where I was appointed as ‘Life Time Ambassador’ - one of an elite group of supporters who have provided truly excellent and consistent support on a pro bono basis. It was a proud and humbling experience for myself and the team of Advanced Boardroom Excellence who hosted a table at the event and continue to champion KidsOut through our corporate sponsorship program. My involvement with the charity includes deputising for the Chairman of the Charity at the Toy Box Ball committee, being a member of various Question of Sport committees UK wide on an annual basis. I also liaise with the KidsOut CEO and team based in Leighton Buzzard, assisting with all manner of tasks related to events and Trustee meetings. I am very much looking forward to continuing to support the work of the Charity and the Trustees in the future by joining in 'fun day's out' and raising funds to support disadvantaged children who are staying in refuges throughout the country and the installation of Phyzzpods. KidsOut are working towards a goal of increasing the number of children who attend the National Day out, in conjunction with Rotary. I am looking forward to the challenge. Show less
