Suzi is a highly regarded and respected individual. I've known Suzi now for 8 years and I have always been impressed with her dedication and hard work. Suzi is very analytically minded and is a fantastic problem solver. She is a team player but equally so works well independently. A loyal colleague and employee, I would have no hesitant in recommending Suzi as I believe she would be a valuable asset to any organisation.

Susan's technical skills make her one of a rare breed of IT who can not only contribute at the "big picture" level and discuss technical requirements with users, she is equally at home rolling up her sleeves and "cutting code". A solid all-round performer and a pleasure to work with.

• Responsible for the design, installation, configuration and ongoing administration of the company’s webMethods platform for over five years. This platform has been fundamental in providing a SOA / EAI capability within Hiscox to build direct insurance channels via the web in a strategic plan for growth. • Worked closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure a successful best practices implementation of webMethods version 8.2 in a recent upgrade from 7.1.2. In re-designing Hiscoxs’ webMethods environments we rationalised the server estate from 130+ virtual servers down to 70, in addition future-proofing Hiscox SOA capability for the next 24 months in terms of resilience, scalability and maintainability. • Assisted the Project Manager in a successful webMethods BPM implementation of a Claims Workflow solution that took over two years to develop. Challenges involved solving problems relating to systems integration with policy and document management systems, environment readiness to users through Citrix, ongoing supportability, and a medium scale document migration from legacy systems on the weekend prior to go-live. • Produced quality design, support and implementation documents following Hiscox’ 3D Project framework as the Solution Architect assigned to several business and IT funded projects. • Provided technical consultation to project and support teams with respect to SOA principles and the webMethods technology stack. • Governed the relationship with offshore team members to ensure a full 3rd line support capability across all webMethods environments in accordance with SLA’s and standard processes. • Actively managed code deployments and product updates throughout the SDLC into Production. • Worked within Fosters’ Data Transformation and Integration team to provide a development and support capability for systems integration. Activities included technical analysis, design, development, and code implementation of interfaces within the CUB and Beringer Blass businesses. This required close collaboration with colleagues within IT globally, as well as with onsite contractors and vendor support. • Gained extensive experience in system’s development for high volume, business critical integration solutions, primarily using the webMethods and JDEdwards development toolsets. Key projects included development and production support for several Wolf Blass bottling line interfaces, and also the implementation of Manugistics software to provide supply chain efficiencies. • Installed and configured a set of webMethods IS adapter Unix-HP environments across global business units to provide the framework for future Berringer Blass data integrations. • Contributed to an in-house Integration Competency Centre focused on improving the team’s business engagement model, increasing our internal service toolset, and maturing existing design patterns. • Developed excellent proficiency in JDEdwards software development within a team of three. This involved modifying existing reports and applications, as well as creating bespoke modules from functional specifications provided by business analysts. Significant project achievements include a successful upgrade of JDEdwards ERP Systems from Xe to version ERP8, and development of a custom module to synchronise product inventory between the US and Australia. • Designed and assisted in creating a development task register within JDEdwards. These modules were developed to improve software development processes within Beringer Blass globally. Show less
