  I teach courses in Victorian literature and culture, the rise and development of the English novel, literary approaches to thinking about the natural environment, introductory courses in writing, and interdisciplinary courses in the humanities. I also teach in Houghton's London Honors semester in London, UK approximately one semester every three years and have taught Environmental Literature for the Creation Care Study Abroad Program in Kaikura, New Zealand every few years.
