The TOMA Fund was a North East based charity which supported children, teenagers, young people and their families in the North East and Cumbria who had been affected by a diagnosis of childhood cancer. This charity was very close to my heart as my own son was diagnosed with cancer at 14 and has thankfully now fully recovered.

  I began this company with my Mother, Doreen Thompson. This was a very small company (max 5 employees) in which we manufactured collectable porcelain dolls. We handmade all our dolls and kits and sold them to collectors in 28 countries. I personally painted the faces and wigged all of the hairstyles. I was responsible for all aspects of the business.
